چکیده
Abstract Papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) is the most common endocrine malignancy, accounting for 85% of differentiated cancers. A small percentage PTC variants are considered more aggressive, such as tall cell variant associated with V600E mutation in BRAF gene and rarer columnar variant, which described only 0.2% cases has a poor prognosis. Although locoregional metastases to neck lymph nodes common, distant rare at presentation 5 7% reported literature. We present very case synchronous metastasis lungs indolent focus pancreas initial diagnosis, never been Our patient presented non-radioactive iodine (RAI) responsive diffuse one focal metastatic lesion pancreas. After multidisciplinary discussions, pancreatectomy/metastasectomy was deferred due disseminated multiple lungs, lack pancreas-related symptoms patient, inherent complication risks. The treated systemic therapy using tyrosine kinase inhibitor (lenvatinib), standard care non-RAI showed complete radiologic resolution pancreatic lesion, however, partial yet nonprogressive disease lungs.

Renal metastases as the initial presentation of papillary thyroid carcinoma: A case report and literature review
Distant metastasis of thyroid carcinoma is rare, and it occurs particularly rarely in renal regions, which represent ~3% of all thyroid distant metastases, with fewer than 30 single case study reports existing in the literature. The present study (and subsequent literature review) of papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) reports the case of a 53-year-old male patient who presented with a left renal...
متن کاملOvarian Small Cell Carcinoma: A Rare Case Report and Review of Literature
Ovarian small cell carcinoma is a rare and highly malignant tumor with poor prognosis. It usually presents in younger females with features of hypercalcemia. The exact histogenesis of the tumor is unclear and it may present as an undifferentiated tumor. In such cases, immunohistochemistry (IHC) plays an important role to confirm the diagnosis. Limited treatment options are available and mainly ...
متن کاملParotid metastasis as the first presentation of papillary thyroid carcinoma
Parotid metastasis originated from papillary thyroid carcinoma is extremely rare, especially as the first presentation of the disease. We present a 70-year-old man with a history of painless swelling in the right side of the neck. He was evaluated for parotid tumor and histopathologic examination revealed a poorly differentiated carcinoma in the parotid gland with suspicion of thyroid origin. T...
متن کاملTongue metastasis as an initial presentation of renal cell carcinoma: a case report and literature review
Aim Distal metastases to oral cavity are very rare. Adenocarcinoma, renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and squamous cell carcinoma are the most common metastatic tumours. The aim of this study was to assess the diagnostic relevance of metastatic renal cell carcinoma on tongue manifestations in large patient series. Methods A patient with distal RCC metastases to the tongue and neck lymph nodes as the f...
متن کاملDiffuse Sclerosing Variant of Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma with Concomitant Thyrotoxicosis: A Case Report and Literature Review
Diffuse sclerosing variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma (DSVPC) is a rare variant of conventional papillary thyroid carcinoma which was first reported in 1985. It appears to be more aggressive than conventional type of papillary thyroid carcinoma. We present a case in a 14-year-old girl who initially presented with thyrotoxicosis and was later diagnosed with DSVPC on subsequent ultrasound and...
